COL PATRICIO S TOMALES INF (GSC) PA, Group Commander, has always emphasized the intent of Higher Headquarters putting premium on the development of the reserve force in the entire region. Within the capability of 9RCDG, systems and process were enhanced in order to increase the personnel, training and facility readiness of the reserve force.
For calendar year 2023, the RRUs have done a remarkable job wherein the active participation of Reservists highlighted the capabilities of the Reserve Force being mobilizable and responsive and ready to work alongside with the Regular Forces in times of National emergencies. RRUs in the region participated in the Mobilization Exercise as well as the joint DRO exercises of the Western Mindanao Command.
