On Reserve Force Readiness
COL PATRICIO S TOMALES INF (GSC) PA, Group Commander, has always emphasized the intent of Higher Headquarters putting premium on the development of the reserve force in the entire region....

The efforts of 9RCDG and its administered reservists contribute to national development and security. As we endeavor to attain this level of achievements, we found that reservists are great contributory factor in nation building and in addressing calamities. Their sense of volunteerism, dedication, training, and readiness will indeed define the national defense preparedness. What is most needed is the proper development of the Reserve Force which is now being undertaken by 9RCDG through the direction of RESCOM leadership. 9RCDG reservists serve as the bridge between the military and civilian sectors in Zamboanga Peninsula and Misamis Occidental. There participations in community development programs and calamity response foster a sense of national unity and cohesion. Also, their commitment to both their military duties and civilian lives exemplifies the importance of balance and service to the nation.

As we move forward to our mission performance, it is crucial for governments and society to recognize and support the efforts of reservists. Proper training, allocation of enough resources, and acknowledgment of their contributions are essential to ensuring the effectiveness and motivation of reservists. By investing in the reservist system, nations can strengthen their security, promote community development, and uphold the values of patriotism and civic duty.

In essence, reservists embody the spirit of service and sacrifice, standing as a testament to the resilience and unity of a nation. Their role in nation’s development is not only vital but also inspiring, reminding us of the collective responsibility we share in building a better and safer future for all.
